「前已總明至果有差別」者，此下第三明施果別因。就中，一總明主等異、二別明主財田。此即第一總明主等異。結前問起。前已總明施招大富，今次當辨施果別家因，或施果家別因，或此別字通果及因。餘文可知。

"Previously it has been generally explained [...] there is a difference in the fruit": from here below is the third part, explaining the distinct causes for the fruits of giving. Within this: 1. generally explaining the differences in the donor, etc.; 2. specifically explaining the donor, wealth, and field. Here, the first generally explains the differences in the donor, etc. This concludes what came before and introduces what follows. Previously it has been generally explained that giving incurs great wealth; now next should be distinguished the distinct causes belonging to the fruits of giving, or the causes belonging to the distinct fruits of giving; or this word "distinct" applies generally to both fruit and cause. The rest of the text is understandable.
