18.86

「能到自所往至波羅蜜多」者，釋第五句六。波羅，此云彼岸。蜜多，此云到。菩薩能到自乘所往圓滿功德彼岸處故，故此六種名曰波羅蜜多。

Regarding "Being able to reach the destination of one's own journey ... pāramitā": this explains the fifth verse line regarding the six [perfections]. "Pāra" is translated here as "the other shore." "Ita" is translated here as "reached." Because the bodhisattva is able to reach the other shore of perfected virtues to which his own vehicle journeys, these six kinds are named pāramitā.
