論「能到自所往至波羅蜜多」，釋六波羅蜜名。《正理》云「別別能到圓德彼岸，故此六名波羅蜜多。」
The treatise says: "From 'able to reach one's own destination...' up to '...pāramitā'"—this explains the name of the six pāramitās. The Nyāyānusāra says: "Because each individually is able to reach the other shore of perfect virtue, these six are called pāramitās."
