「於上所說至三定皆癡故」者，此下第二明無記根中，一正明無記根，二因論明四無記。此即第一正明無記根。初三句述此國，後三句述外方。

[On the passage] “Regarding what was stated above … because all three definitely involve delusion”: Hereafter is the second section, which clarifies the indeterminate roots (avyākṛta-mūla). Within it, the first part directly clarifies the indeterminate roots, and the second part clarifies the four indeterminate declarations through the discussion. This is the first part, directly clarifying the indeterminate roots. The first three lines state the position of this country [Kaśmīra], and the latter three lines state that of external regions [the Western Masters].
