「不爾問意至無分別故」者，答。不爾。問意直、諂有殊，此即問意不同。若直心問者，記有分別故。若諂曲心問者，記無分別。所以前名分別記，後名反詰記。

On the passage from "Not so; the intent of the question" to "there being no differentiation": an answer. It is not so. There is a difference between straightforwardness and deceit in the questioner's intent; this refers to the difference in the intent of the question. If one asks with a straightforward mind, the answer has differentiation. If one asks with a deceitful mind, the answer has no differentiation. Therefore, the former is named an analytical answer, and the latter an answer by counter-questioning.
