「傍論已周至并內界十二」者，此下第二十諸識所識門，二十一常、無常門，二十二是根、非根門。頌中第一句明識所識，第二句解常、無常，下兩句釋根、非根。頌文中略，但言二所識，是常、是根。義准應知，所餘唯是一識所識，無常、非根。

Regarding the passage from "The incidental discussion being completed..." up to "together with twelve internal realms": Below, this is the twentieth section on the category of what is cognized by consciousnesses, the twenty-first on the category of permanent and impermanent, and the twenty-second on the category of faculty and non-faculty. In the verse, the first line clarifies what is cognized by consciousnesses, the second line explains permanent and impermanent, and the lower two lines explain faculty and non-faculty. The verse text is concise, only stating that what is cognized by two is permanent and is a faculty. By implication of the principle, one should know that the remainder is cognized by only one consciousness, is impermanent, and is a non-faculty.
