「復次至幾無記」者，此下大文第三諸門分別，總有二十二門分別十八界。所以不約蘊、處分別者，《正理》第四云「界中具顯根、境、識故。諸門義類易可了知，故今且約十八界辨。由斯蘊、處義類已成。」此下明初三門。將明問起。

Regarding "Furthermore... [up to] ...how many are unrecorded?": From here below is the third major section, the distinctions by various categories; there are twenty-two categories in total distinguishing the eighteen elements. As for why they are not distinguished according to skandhas and āyatanas, Nyāyānusāra, fascicle 4, states: "Because within the elements, the faculties, objects, and consciousnesses are fully revealed. The classes of meanings across various categories are easily understood, so here we provisionally distinguish them according to the eighteen elements. By this, the classes of meanings for the skandhas and āyatanas are already accomplished." From here down explains the first three categories. Approaching the explanation, a question is raised.
