「有言若爾至聞修所成」者，論主述諸師破《毘婆沙》義。有言：若爾，思慧不成。若緣名時應是聞慧，若緣義時應是修慧。

Regarding "Some say: If so ... arisen from hearing and cultivation": The treatise master recounts the refutation of the *Vibhāṣā* position by various masters. Some say: If so, wisdom arisen from reflection would not be established. If it takes name as object, it should be wisdom arisen from hearing; if it takes meaning as object, it should be wisdom arisen from cultivation.
