「隨在何世至通緣三世」者，釋自世緣。又《婆沙》云「過去緣過去，現在緣現在，未來生法緣未來。若不生法，緣三世。」

The words 'According to whichever time period it exists in ... universally takes the three time periods as object' explain taking its own period as object. Furthermore, the Mahāvibhāṣā says: 'Past takes past as object; present takes present as object; future dharmas that will arise take future as object. If they are dharmas that will not arise, they take the three time periods as object.'
