"There is neither revulsion nor detachment ... all patiences and knowledges," this is the fourth alternative. Neither revulsion nor detachment refers to all patiences and knowledges taking nirodha-satya and mārga-satya as their objects that do not cause the severing of defilements; because they take joyful objects as their domain, they are not revulsion; because they do not remove defilement, they are not detachment. The Nyāyānusāra explains: "It should be understood that here, for one who enters the seeing of the truths having previously detached from the defilement of desire, the dharma-patiences of nirodha and mārga, and the nirodha-knowledge and mārga-knowledge in the path of seeing, as well as the nirodha-knowledge and mārga-knowledge subsumed under the preparatory, liberation, and special progress paths within the path of cultivation."
