「諸解脫道至未來皆八」者，釋第三句。學位雜修諸解脫道唯無漏故，唯四法、類隨應現修。無漏故，世俗智非現修。非是他心解脫道故，他心非現修。若加行道，於前六上增世俗智隨應現修，以世俗智能為加行故。加行非容預故，他心非現修。諸勝進道於前七上，又加他心隨應現修，勝進容預他心現修。此上三道未來皆修八智。皆非斷障，得修他心。

"In all vimukti-mārgas ... all cultivate eight in the future": this explains the third line. Because all vimukti-mārgas of mixed cultivation at the stage of the śaikṣa are exclusively anāsrava, only the four dharma- and anvaya-[jñānas] are cultivated in the present according to applicability. Because they are anāsrava, conventional knowledge is not cultivated in the present. Because they are not the vimukti-mārga of [the supernatural knowledge of] another's mind, [the knowledge of] another's mind is not cultivated in the present. In the prayoga-mārga, conventional knowledge is added to the preceding six and cultivated in the present according to applicability, because conventional knowledge can serve as preparation. Because preparation is not an unhurried [state], [the knowledge of] another's mind is not cultivated in the present. In all viśeṣa-mārgas, on top of the preceding seven, [the knowledge of] another's mind is also added and cultivated in the present according to applicability; because the viśeṣa[-mārga] is unhurried, [the knowledge of] another's mind is cultivated in the present. In the three paths above, eight knowledges are all cultivated in the future. Because none sever obstacles, one is able to cultivate [the knowledge of] another's mind.
