「無學雜修至鈍八利九」者,釋雜修無間應八九。無學雜修諸無間道現修如學,四、法、類、俗。無間見性非息求故,盡、無生智非是現修。未來所修,鈍八、利九,各除他心,以斷障故。

"In mixed cultivation by an aśaikṣa ... eight for the dull, nine for the sharp": this explains that in the ānantarya[-mārga] of mixed cultivation [one cultivates] eight or nine according to applicability. In all ānantarya-mārgas of mixed cultivation by an aśaikṣa, the present cultivation is like that of the śaikṣa: the four dharma-, anvaya-, and conventional [knowledges]. Because the ānantarya[-mārga] is of the nature of seeing and is not a cessation of seeking, the knowledges of destruction and non-arising are not cultivated in the present. As for what is cultivated in the future: eight for the dull and nine for the sharp, each excluding [the knowledge of] another's mind, because they sever obstacles.
