26.3

《分別智品》者，決斷重知故名為智，此品廣明故名分別。所以次明《智品》者，前品明果，此品明因，因望果親故次辨智。

Regarding the "Exposition of Knowledge" (Jñāna-nirdeśa): decisive determination and repeated cognizing are called "knowledge" (jñāna); because this chapter explains it extensively, it is called an "exposition." As for why the Chapter on Knowledge is explained next: the preceding chapter explained the result, whereas this chapter explains the cause; because the cause is intimately connected to the result, knowledge is analyzed next.
