26.65

「雖說非理至是散心故」者，經部師釋。雖說非理，我宗不許與睡眠俱諸染污心是散心故。眠俱染心，唯聚心故，故無一心通聚、散過。

Regarding "Although it was said to be illogical ... because it is a distracted mind": the Sautrāntika master explains. Although it was said to be illogical, our school does not accept that defiled minds accompanied by torpor are distracted minds. A defiled mind accompanied by torpor is exclusively a gathered mind; therefore, there is no fault of a single mind applying to both gathered and distracted.
