Regarding 'Seventh, the power of knowledge of paths leading to all destinations... up to: having the ten knowledges as its nature,' this explains the fourth line. All conditioned phenomena (saṃskāra) are capable of leading to results according to their appropriate nature; hence they are called 'paths leading to all destinations' (sarvatragāminī-pratipad). A Buddha's knowing as it truly is all paths leading to all destinations is called the power of knowledge of paths leading to all destinations (sarvatragāminī-pratipad-jñāna-bala). The previous explanation of nine knowledges excluding cessation accords with the object of this path being only cessation. The subsequent explanation of ten knowledges universally includes causes and effects. Thus the Xianzong says: 'The unimpeded knowledge that knows as it truly is the causes and fruits of saṃsāra and knows the path to exhaustion is called the power of knowledge of paths leading to all destinations.'
