27.25

「大覺獨覺至力有勝劣」者，復對三人支節相連對願差別。大覺支節相連似龍蟠結，獨覺支節相連似連鎖，輪王支節相連似相鉤，故三相望力有勝劣。准《婆沙》三十「支節相鉤是銅輪王。若據金輪，骨節連鎖。」

"The Great Awakened One, the Solitary Awakened One... their power has degrees of superiority and inferiority" further compares the differences in the connection of joints and vows among the three types of persons. The Great Awakened One's joints are linked like coiling dragons; the Solitary Awakened One's joints are linked like interlocking chains; the wheel-turning king's joints are linked like interlocking hooks; hence, when compared with one another, their power has degrees of superiority and inferiority. According to the *Mahāvibhāṣā*, fascicle 30: "Joints linked like interlocking hooks applies to a copper-wheel-turning king. If one refers to a gold-wheel-turning king, the bone joints are like interlocking chains."
