「前之五通依四靜慮」者，釋第七句，此明依地。於六通中前之五通，依四靜慮，不依無色、近分、中間。漏盡通依地、緣境，前已便明，故不重辨。

On the statement, "The first five supernormal knowledges rely upon the four dhyānas": This explains the seventh line, clarifying the relying levels. Among the six supernormal knowledges, the first five rely upon the four dhyānas, and do not rely upon the formless [attainments], the preliminary stages (sāmantaka), or the intermediate [dhyāna]. The relying levels and cognized objects of the supernormal knowledge of the exhaustion of contaminations were already conveniently clarified earlier, and thus are not explained again.
