「修超等至至修超等至」者，釋第四句。《正理》云「修超等至唯欲三洲，除北俱盧，然通男、女。不時解脫諸阿羅漢要得無諍妙願智等邊際定者，能超非餘，定自在故、無煩惱故。」又云「勝解作意，不能無間修超等至，勢力劣故。」

Regarding 'Cultivating leaping meditative attainments ... cultivating leaping meditative attainments': this explains the fourth line. The *Nyāyānusāra* says: 'Cultivating leaping meditative attainments occurs only in the three continents of the desire [realm], excluding Uttarakuru, but applies to both males and females. Only those arhats liberated at any time who must obtain the peak absorptions of non-strife, superior resolution-knowledge, and the like, can leap and not others, because their concentration has mastery and they are free from afflictions.' It also says: 'With mental engagement through resolute conviction, one cannot immediately cultivate leaping meditative attainments, because its strength is inferior.'
