「善言通攝至便不住故」者，釋初兩句。住現前法樂名住現法樂。經但說初，舉初顯後，理實通餘上三靜慮。餘文可知。

"From 'Wholesome words comprehensively subsume' up to 'thus one does not abide'" explains the first two lines. Abiding in the present bliss of phenomena is called 'abiding in the bliss of the present life' (dṛṣṭadharma-sukha-vihāra). The sūtra speaks only of the first [dhyāna]; citing the first illustrates the subsequent ones; in actual principle, it applies to the remaining upper three dhyānas. The remaining text is clear.
