「若依諸定至殊勝知見」者，釋第三、第四句。若依諸定、修天眼通便能獲得殊勝知見、知見即是清淨眼識相應勝慧故。《法蘊足論》第八解四修中云「清淨眼識相應勝慧說名為智，亦名為見。謂天眼識相應勝慧，領受觀察彼彼諸色，是名此中殊勝智見。彼於此定，若習、若修、若多所作，能令證得殊勝智見。」

"From 'If, relying on the concentrations' up to 'superior knowledge and vision'" explains the third and fourth lines. If, relying on the concentrations, one cultivates the supernormal power of the divine eye, one is able to attain superior knowledge and vision; this is because knowledge and vision are precisely the superior wisdom associated with the pure visual consciousness. Fascicle eight of the *Dharmaskandha-śāstra*, explaining the four cultivations, states: "The superior wisdom associated with the pure visual consciousness is called knowledge, and is also called vision. That is, the superior wisdom associated with the divine eye's visual consciousness experiences and observes various colors and forms; this is what is here called superior knowledge and vision. If one practices, cultivates, and frequently performs this concentration, it can cause one to realize superior knowledge and vision."
