28.54

「色界無段食至心轉所依」者，說一切有部反責。色界無段食，身復依何轉？下欲界中亦不見色身離段食轉故。又先〈世品〉，說彼無色心轉所依，謂依命根眾同分轉。

Regarding 'In the form realm there is no material food... the basis on which mind operates': the Sarvāstivāda retorts with an interrogation. In the form realm there is no material food; on what, then, does the body depend to operate? For in the lower desire realm, a physical body is never seen operating separated from material food. Furthermore, previously in the 'Loka-nirdeśa', it explained the basis on which the mind in that formless realm operates: namely, operating dependent on the life-faculty and nikāya-sabhāga.
