「若爾何緣至有如是色等」者，此下大文第三通難。犢子難云：若言無我，何緣此經復作是說：我於過去世，有如是色等。

"If so, on what account... having such form and so forth?": from here on is the third main section, resolving objections. The Vātsīputrīyas object: If you say there is no self, on what account does this sūtra further say, "In past times, I had such form and so forth"?
