「如誰依誰至未來果生」者，論主破。此法、非法依止於我，如誰依誰？此法非如畫、如果；我為能持，如壁、如器等。此前已破。法、非法不應依我。「然聖」已下，亦正義。

Regarding "Like what relying on what? … future fruit arises": the author of the treatise refutes [this]. As for these dharma and adharma relying upon the self, like what relies on what? These factors are not like a painting or like fruit; nor is the self the container like a wall or a vessel, etc. This was already refuted previously. Dharma and adharma should not rely on a self. The passage from "However, the noble ones …" onward is also the correct doctrine.
