Regarding "Having well explained this … seek the eye of wisdom": from this point on, the third major division of the entire work is called the section on dissemination. According to one explanation, it is the section on dissemination within the "Pudgala-pratiṣedha". In terms of the three verses: the first verse praises the path and encourages abandoning [false views]; the second verse praises the path that is unseen; the third verse shows brevity and encourages study. This is the first: praising the path and encouraging abandonment. I have well explained above this unperverted, pure path of the cause of nirvāṇa, taking the cause to be the path. Or, the cause is the cause that can realize, and the path is the immeasurable path traversed. That is, the true verbal teachings of the Buddha, the World-Honoured One, the true uncontaminated dharma-nature—this is the aforementioned path of the uncontaminated cause. Or, the true dharma-nature is the path traversed, the true selflessness of all dharma-nature. This clarifies the essence of the path. Not illuminating the true principle is called darkness; lacking the eye of wisdom is called blindness. One should abandon the perverse attachments arisen from the dark and blind non-Buddhists and the like. Perverse attachments are solely caused by bad views; one should seek the eye of wisdom to eliminate these biased attachments and illuminate the principle of selflessness.
