「由捨前蘊取後蘊故」者，犢子部答。由我捨前蘊能取後蘊故，說我流轉生死。
Regarding 'By relinquishing previous aggregates and grasping subsequent aggregates': the Vātsīputrīya replies. Because the self relinquishes the previous aggregates and is able to grasp subsequent aggregates, the self is said to transmigrate in saṃsāra.
