30.41

「若唯有蘊至名為妙眼」者，犢子部難。若唯有蘊而無我者，何故佛說今我於昔為世導師？既說今我昔為師言，明知有我。

Regarding 'If there are only skandhas [...] called Sunetra': the Vātsīputrīya objects. If there are only skandhas and no self, why did the Buddha say, 'I, who am now, was in the past the guide of the world'? Since he spoke the words 'I now was the teacher in the past', one clearly knows that there is a self.
