「於中且辨至自相續二滅」者，此下第二別牒解釋。就中有七：一明得、非得；二明同分；三明無想；四明二定；五明命根；六明四相；七明名等。就第一明得、非得中，一明自性、二明差別。此即明自性，上兩句正出體，下兩句明所依。

Regarding "Among these, first explaining [...] one's own continuum and the two cessations": From here downward is the second [section], quoting separately and explaining. Within this there are seven [topics]: first, explaining acquisition and non-acquisition; second, explaining generic similarity; third, explaining the non-conceptual; fourth, explaining the two absorptions; fifth, explaining the life-faculty; sixth, explaining the four characteristics; seventh, explaining names and so forth. Within the first, explaining acquisition and non-acquisition, there are: first, explaining their intrinsic nature; second, explaining their distinctions. This [passage] explains their intrinsic nature: the upper two lines directly present the entity, and the lower two lines explain their basis.
