"If so, the great elements ... since each depends on a set of four great elements": this is the challenge. If the four great elements are spoken of in terms of real entities, the real entities should turn out to be more. Visible matter, odor, taste, and touch—these created matters—each depend separately on one set of four great elements; combined with the four basics, they make five. Eight should turn out to be twenty, nine should turn out to be twenty-five, and ten should turn out to be thirty. If sound arises, twenty becomes twenty-five, twenty-five becomes thirty, and thirty becomes thirty-five.
