「天愛汝今至不閑意旨」者，答：西方相弄呼為天愛，非能自活天愛得存。汝今但知本論言至不閑意旨。

On "Beloved of the gods (devānāmpriya), you now ... do not understand the intention": This is the answer. In the Western regions, they mock each other by calling one 'beloved of the gods'—meaning one who cannot make a living for oneself and survives only by being loved by the gods. You now know only the words of the fundamental treatise, up to 'do not understand the intention.'
