「非得、二定至非異熟等」者，非得、二定於五類中唯是等流，從同類因生故。非業感故非異熟，非極微故非所長養，非苦忍俱故非剎那，非無為故非實。

"Non-possession and the two absorptions […] are not maturation, etc.:" among the five classes, non-possession and the two absorptions are uniquely uniform outflow, because they arise from a homogeneous cause. Because they are not brought about by karma, they are not maturation; because they are not subtle atoms, they are not nourished; because they are not simultaneous with the receptivity to suffering, they are not instantaneous; because they are not unconditioned, they are not real.
