「迦濕彌羅國至起滅盡定」者，迦濕彌羅國意說：非先起滅定、後方生盡智，由三十四念得菩提故。於此三十四念中間，無容得起非想地有漏不同類心，故諸菩薩學位不應起滅盡定。

Regarding "The Kaśmīra [masters say]... generates the absorption of cessation": the intention of the Kaśmīra [masters] is that it is not the case that he first generates the absorption of cessation and only then gives rise to the knowledge of destruction, because he attains awakening by means of thirty-four thought-moments. In the midst of these thirty-four thought-moments, there is no possibility of generating a heterogeneous sāsrava thought of the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception; therefore, the bodhisattva in the stage of training should not generate the absorption of cessation.
