「為以一言至應知亦爾」者，解。雖復所緣、行相、時同，又須同依，方名相應。釋同所依，如文可知。應知五識雖亦依意，據別所依。意識更無別依，雖標總稱，即受別名。

"Regarding 'In order, with a single word... should be known as likewise':" this is the explanation. Although objective support, mental aspect, and time may be identical, they must also share the same support (āśraya) before they are called associated. The explanation of sharing the same support can be known from the text. One should know that although the five consciousnesses also rely on the mental organ (manas), this is based on their distinct supports. Mental consciousness (mano-vijñāna) has no further distinct support; although it is designated by a general name, it receives a distinct designation.
