「如有經說至識亦如是」者，經部答。既言因緣能生色等皆是無常，明知無為非因所攝。「無常因緣」下，同文故來。

Regarding 'As a sūtra says […] consciousness is also like this': the Sautrāntikas reply. Since it says that the causes and conditions able to generate form and so forth are all impermanent, it clearly indicates that the unconditioned is not included among causes. The text from 'impermanent causes and conditions' downward is cited because it is part of the same passage.
