「諸上地道至或等或勝」者，問。依上地道與依下地道為因，是即勝與劣為因，云何名為或等或勝？

"Regarding 'The paths of all higher levels... either equal or superior':" this is a question. If a path relying on a higher level serves as a cause for a path relying on a lower level, then the superior serves as a cause for the inferior; how can this be called 'either equal or superior'?
