「有謂已生至於一切劣」者，答。有謂過、現已生苦法智品，於未來未生位苦法忍品。又已生一切勝，於未生一切劣。

"Regarding 'There are [some], namely the already arisen... with respect to all inferior':" this is the answer. There are [some], namely the category of dharma-knowledge of suffering (duḥkhe dharma-jñāna) already arisen in the past or present, with respect to the category of dharma-forbearance of suffering (duḥkhe dharma-jñāna-kṣānti) in an unarisen future state. Furthermore, all superior [dharmas] already arisen [are not causes] with respect to all unarisen inferior ones.
