「有餘部說至故無中有」者，此下第二證有中有。將明先敘異部無中有計。准《宗輪論》，大眾部等說無中有。

"Other schools say [...] therefore there is no intermediate existence": from here on, second, the existence of intermediate existence is proven. Before demonstrating it, the rival schools' tenet that there is no intermediate existence is first stated. According to the *Samayabhedoparacanacakra*, schools such as the Mahāsāṃghika say there is no intermediate existence.
