「有釋為顯至亦生」者，上坐同學解。住謂相續住。乃至因相續有，果相續亦有，故言依此有彼有。及即由因分生故諸果分亦生，故言此生故彼生。

Regarding "Some explain: in order to show … also arise": this is the explanation of a fellow student of the Elder. "Abiding" refers to the abiding of the continuum. Up to: as long as the continuum of the cause exists, the continuum of the result also exists; therefore it says, "depending on the existence of this, that exists." And precisely because the causal factor arises, the resulting factors also arise; therefore it says, "because of the arising of this, that arises."
