「從此三受至生無色愛」者，出愛支體。從此三受引生三愛，謂由欲界苦逼惱故，有於樂受發生欲界愛。或有於色界初、二、三定樂，第四非苦樂受，發生色界愛。或有唯於無色界非苦樂受，發生無色界愛。

"From these three feelings... craving for the formless realm arises": this identifies the substantial nature of the limb of craving. From these three feelings, three cravings are induced and arise. That is, due to the torment of suffering in the desire realm, some develop craving for the desire realm in regard to pleasant feeling. Or some develop craving for the form realm in regard to the pleasure of the first, second, and third dhyānas of the form realm, and the non-suffering-and-non-pleasure feeling of the fourth dhyāna. Or some develop craving for the formless realm solely in regard to the non-suffering-and-non-pleasure feeling of the formless realm.
