論「如是已說至何謂有為」，上來三頌總明漏、無漏，下二十二頌開為蘊、處、界。先開為五蘊，後開為處、界。初兩頌總明五蘊，次「色者」下別釋五蘊并分處、界。就前兩頌中，初一頌總明漏、無漏蘊，次一頌別明有漏蘊。就前文中，初結前問、後次舉頌答、後長行釋。此即初也。

On the Śāstra's statement: 'Thus it has already been explained [...] what are the conditioned?': The three verses above explained sāsrava and anāsrava in general; the twenty-two verses below expand them into skandhas, āyatanas, and dhātus. First they are expanded into the five skandhas, and later into āyatanas and dhātus. The first two verses explain the five skandhas in general, and next, from 'form' onward, individually explain the five skandhas and delineate the āyatanas and dhātus. Within the former two verses, the first verse explains the sāsrava and anāsrava skandhas in general, and the next verse individually explains the sāsrava skandhas. Within the former text: first, it concludes the preceding and asks; next, it raises the verse to answer; finally, the prose commentary explains it. This is the first part.
