論「聲聞獨覺至非一切種」，第二遮餘聖。聲聞、獨覺雖滅諸冥，以染無知畢竟斷故。麟喻獨覺、不動羅漢以不退故，染污無知畢竟永斷，與佛同斷；非一切種，不染無知猶未斷故，與佛不同。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "Śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas... not of all kinds," this is the second part, excluding the other noble ones. Although śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas extinguish all darkness, it is because defiled ignorance is definitively severed. Because rhinoceros-like pratyekabuddhas and unshakeable (akopya) arhats do not fall back, defiled ignorance is definitively and forever severed, the same severing as the Buddha's; but it is "not of all kinds," because undefiled ignorance is not yet severed, which is different from the Buddha.
