「論曰至貪著諸見」，長行釋也。文中有三：一諍根、二生死因、三次第因。此文第一因也。在家之人因樂受故起貪之諍，出家之人由倒想故能生見諍。

[On the quote:] “The *Śāstra* says: … greedily attached to views,” this is the prose explanation. Within the text there are three: first, the roots of dispute; second, the cause of saṃsāra; third, the cause of sequence. This passage is the first cause. Householders give rise to disputes of greed due to pleasant feelings; those who have gone forth can generate disputes of views due to inverted perceptions.
