1.88

論「一切有漏法同一擇滅耶」，三明同異也。正量部計：一切有漏同有一擇滅，《婆沙》或說唯內法有，經部有說擇滅無體。為對諸宗，故寄問起。於中有七：一問、二略答、三重問、四廣答、五反釋、六難、七通。此即問也。

The treatise says, "Do all contaminated phenomena share a single cessation through deliberation?": this is the third [part], clarifying identity and difference. The Saṃmatīya holds that all contaminated [phenomena] share one identical cessation through deliberation; the Vibhāṣā records that some say it exists only for internal phenomena; and the Sautrāntika has those who say cessation through deliberation has no real entity. In order to respond to these various schools, this inquiry is raised. Within it there are seven parts: 1. the question, 2. the brief answer, 3. the follow-up question, 4. the extensive answer, 5. the reductio, 6. the objection, and 7. the resolution. This is the question.
