論「依何義說滅無同類」，正量部難。若不如我宗同一擇滅，則有眾多同類擇滅，因何經說滅無同類？
The treatise says, "With what meaning is it said that cessation has no homogeneous counterpart?": this is the objection by the Saṃmatīya. If it is not as our school holds—that there is a single cessation through deliberation—then there would be many cessations through deliberation of the same kind; why then does the sūtra say that cessation has no homogeneous counterpart?
