1.94

論「若如是者至則為無用」，若如前義，即有後失。本為證滅令惑不生修餘對治，滅既證已，修餘對治即為無用。

The treatise says, "If it were like this … then it would be useless": if it were as in the former position, then the latter error would follow. One originally cultivates further antidotes in order to realize cessation so that afflictions will not arise; once cessation has already been realized, cultivating further antidotes would be useless.
