論「謂喜憂捨各六近行」，答。此三受各緣六境分為六近行，合為十八也。
[On the Śāstra's statement:] 'They are six investigations each of joy, grief, and equanimity', this is the answer. These three feelings each take the six objects as referents and are divided into six investigations, which together make eighteen.
