10.20

論「不爾無明至共相應故」，答也。答中有二：一以無明見相應故、二以無明能染慧故。此是初也。

The treatise says: "It is not so; ignorance ... because they are mutually associated." This is the answer. Within the answer there are two points: first, because ignorance is associated with views; second, because ignorance can taint discernment. This is the first point.
