10.38

論「不可說為餘煩惱故」，貪、慢、見等經雖已別說，疑、恚、惑等復非是類，已說在彼隨眠之中。十隨眠中唯有無明未說，只可說為無明，不可說為餘煩惱故。

The treatise says: "Because it cannot be stated to be any other defilement." Although greed, conceit, views, and so forth have already been stated separately in the sūtra, doubt, aversion, delusion, and so forth are furthermore not categories, having already been stated among those latent defilements. Among the ten latent defilements, only ignorance has not been stated; it can only be stated to be ignorance, because it cannot be stated to be any other defilement.
