10.57

論「說即三和至非法處攝」，述經部師通有部引六六經也。勿以說六根、境已更別說六觸，即謂六觸別有實體。勿受及愛說法處已，更別說有六愛、六處，即謂受、愛非法處攝別有體也。

The treatise says: "To say it is precisely the coming together of the three [...] is not subsumed under the dharmāyatana." This relates the Sautrāntika master resolving the Sarvāstivādin's citation of the Ṣaṭṣaṭka-sūtra. One should not suppose that because after having stated the six faculties and objects, it further states six contacts separately, contact therefore has a distinct substantial entity. Lest feeling and craving, having been stated in the dharmāyatana, being further separately stated as six feelings and six cravings, should lead one to suppose that feeling and craving are not subsumed under the dharmāyatana and have distinct entities.
