10.91

論「無如是失至無非是觸」，經部救也。觸時之識有前位受，故非無受也。受位時識是後位觸，故無非是觸。

On the Śāstra's statement: "There is no such fallacy ... none that is not contact": the Sautrāntika defends. The consciousness at the time of contact possesses the feeling of the preceding stage; hence it is not without feeling. The consciousness at the stage of feeling is the contact of the subsequent stage; hence none is not contact.
