論「除能引集至生芽等力」，勝論答。由種子故，令芽極微聚集而住，更無有力。
The treatise says: "Apart from being able to attract and gather … the power to produce the sprout and the like." The Vaiśeṣikas answer: By virtue of the seed, the atoms of the sprout are caused to gather and abide, but it has no other power.
